ATS Staff Travels
As travel consultants, we need to
travel not only to learn about new destinations but also to re-visit
the places we love. Hey, someone has to do it! And the staff members
of Antietam Travel Service have been doing a lot of traveling!
Owners Linda
and Bill
Cleveland took their granddaughter and a friend on a Southern
Caribbean cruise aboard the Carnival Victory in January,
visiting Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, Dominica, Barbados, St. Lucia,
Antigua, and St. Kitts. Yes, that's seven islands in seven days!
Alex
Bohn escorted the "Joint Cruise" hosted by Dr. Ralph Salvagno, Center for Joint Surgery
& Sports Medicine, in January. This was a
4-night Caribbean Cruise aboard the Celebrity Century to Key West
and Cozumel.
In
February she sailed aboard the Caribbean Princess on a 7-night
Southern Caribbean Cruise. In April she took a 7-night river cruise with Avalon River Cruises
from Amsterdam to Holland and Belgium, followed by some time in
Stuttgart and Munich, Germany, to celebrate her birthday.
Debbie
Riffle is currently hosting a group aboard the Radiance of the
Seas on a 12-night Alaska CruiseTour. This trip includes a
7-night northbound Hubbard Glacier Cruise and a 5-night escorted
land tour visiting Seward, Anchorage, Talkeetna, Denali, and
Fairbanks.
JoAnn
Lindgren just got back from a fun-filled, action packed
week at Walt Disney World with her children and grandchildren.
Julie
Shanholtz took advantage of the great deals aboard the
Carnival Pride out of Baltimore and sailed the Florida and
Bahamas itinerary
with her Mom on May 3.
Nancy
Roberson visited Walt Disney World in April (her 43rd visit!)
with a gal friend. She dined at several of the finest onsite
restaurants, relaxed by the pool, had an exciting day at Typhoon
Lagoon Water Park, and, naturally, spent several leisurely days in
the parks. "Disney is a totally different experience without the
children!" She visited Curacao in May, hosted by Air Jamaica and
the Curacao Tourist Board. She stayed 2 nights at the Radisson Resort
and Casino and visited the island's resorts and attractions. Curacao
is a great island for beaches, water sports, gambling, and dining.
Pat
O'Beirne sailed from Baltimore to Nassau and Freeport aboard the
Carnival Pride for the inaugural sailing in April. She
visited Riviera Maya in November and stayed at the Iberostar Paraiso
Maya.
